The Lacemaker (without background) - Johannes Vermeer
Counted Cross Stitch Pattern
A Dutch woman with elaborately braided and ringleted hair making bobbin lace. She wears a yellow gown with a lace collar and is concentrating intently on her work, which rests on a wooden stand. Next to her is a carpet-covered table, on which a blue and white cushion and a small book sit. The background is not stitched; ecru fabric is recommended. See VER005 for the full original painting with background, or compare them side by side. (1669-70)
