The famous young lady in a white gown with a pink-sashed Empire waist and a pink bonnet with ribbons blowing loose framing her curly brown hair. She stands on a rather abstract hilltop against a sky of blue with white clouds which are becoming stormy. Her traditional companion is Gainsborough's The Blue Boy, which we offer in a compatible size. (1794)
