Pallas Athena - Gustav Klimt |
Counted Cross Stitch Pattern |
The goddess Athena wearing a golden helmet, her red hair streaming below it, and the Aegis or breastplate with the head of Medusa the Gorgon in the center and bordered with serpents. In her left hand she holds a golden spear; in her right, a tiny figure of a woman with her arms outstretched standing on a miniature globe. Behind her is a scene styled after Greek pottery showing Hercules wrestling the Triton. Her companion owl is dimly seen behind her also.
