Hello stitching friends,
A couple of weeks ago, we changed from processing credit cards through PayPal to Authorize.net. Using PayPal was intended to make credit card processing more secure, but a lot of people had trouble with it. The biggest problem was that, contrary to what we understood at first, PayPal doesn't always give you the option of paying with a credit card! So we have now changed to using Authorize.net when you ask to pay with a credit card. It's very straightforward -- when you click the Pay Now button at the end of the checkout process, you'll go to a secure page where you can enter your credit card and billing information, and it tells you immediately whether your card was accepted. That's the way the PayPal checkout was supposed to work (but didn't). We apologize to everyone who has had trouble with the PayPal checkout. We are still accepting PayPal payments, and if you want to pay with your PayPal account, you can. You can even change your mind when you get to PayPal and use a credit card instead (if it gives you the option). As always, please let us know if you have any trouble with payments (or anything else on our website). Authorize.net has an excellent reputation so we are hoping this will be a big improvement.
We wish you all joyous holidays and a wonderful new year!
