Two of our patterns this month are by suggestion! Migrant Mother - Dorothea Lange was suggested by Laraine Harris of Slaton, Texas. We're having a little more trouble giving away a copy of Cupid and Pysche as Children - William Bouguereau. The first person who suggested it did not respond to our email so we've now reached out to the second person. We hate for anyone to miss out, so please, if you make a pattern suggestion, don't use an email address you never check, or that you will lose if you change jobs!

Occasionally, as we experience changes in the costs of our materials, we adjust our cost and price calculation. These changes affect the patterns developed after that, but there are patterns whose prices have not been updated to reflect our current costs in over 10 years. So, some of our prices will increase effective January 1. However, as we worked on the changes, we discovered and corrected an anomaly in our price calculation, which will actually cause some prices to go down, particularly for large print patterns. The average price change for regular print patterns is +$0.86 and for large print patterns, -$0.18. There are patterns which will experience more significant changes, but relatively few, and mostly our oldest patterns. There will be no changes to the prices of the floss labels.
