We're excited to introduce a new artist this month, Anne Martin McCool. Her Island Mood Patchwork is shown below. She lives and works in Anacortes, Washington and paints local scenery among other things. You can see more of her work on her website, plus we hope to have more patterns based on her work in the future. She was introduced to us by Kristi Gabrielse, owner of Ana-Cross Stitch, who has been trying to get patterns based on work by local artists into her shop for a while, and we were delighted to license Anne's work.

In addition, Twilight in the Wilderness - Frederick Church was suggested first by Lynnda of Mission Viejo, California. She and Kristi have both been given copies of the patterns they suggested.

Did you visit the online retail show that was held recently? The organizers are looking for feedback on whether to do it again, what people liked and didn't like, and when to hold it (it probably wouldn't be in November again). Email us with your thoughts.
