Hello stitching friends,
We had a big response to our announcement about our Facebook group last month. Lots of people are posting pictures of their completed Scarlet Quince pieces and asking questions. This is a public group, so everyone can see the posts, but if you want to post, you must join the group. When you ask to join, there is a question to answer (what have you stitched or would you like to stitch?) which is intended to help weed out spammers. There is no right answer -- just respond and we'll add you to the group, but you MUST say something before we add you. If you don't see the question or have a problem answering it, please let us know.
We have made a small fix to SQ Stitch (the full screen button had stopped working). Just wanted to let you know it works again if that is a feature you like. More fixes and enhancements are on the way.
The DMC floss labels (the full set) now include all of the latest DMC colors (#01-35). They still include the few colors that DMC "merged" with other colors but we have clarified the wording to indicate that these colors are actually discontinued.
We have several pattern awards this month! Red and White Domes - Paul Klee was suggested by H. D. Beano of Jordan. We have not heard back from the person who suggested Masque of the Four Seasons - Walter Crane, but it was also a suggestion. Allyson from Idaho was the first to suggest Portrait of Elizabeth Wharton Drexel - Giovanni Boldini. And finally, Laurie from British Columbia, Canada, suggested Roses in a Tall Glass Vase - Franz Bischoff. As always, the first person to suggest an art work on which we base a pattern receives a complimentary copy of the pattern. The new patterns are shown below.
Keep stitching, | ||||
