Hello stitching friends,
I recently received an inquiry about whether delivery times of snail mail to Europe has improved. I believe flights from the US continue to be very limited. I did learn that the Postal Service has been sending mail for northern Europe by ship -- which takes about a month just for the voyage. There is a status page for international service. If you scroll down past the countries which are not getting US mail at all, there is a description by country of what is known regarding delays or service curtailments, along with the date of the announcement. We do continue to recommend that if you are outside the US, you order electronic patterns until things are more normal.
We are currently negotiating the renewal of our licenses for Diego Rivera and Rudi Hurzlmeier's art. There is a possibility that either or both artists will be discontinued, probably without much notice. The patterns in question are:
Our newest pattern, Watering the Garden - Ralph Hedley, was suggested by Karen Morrison of Eugene, Oregon. Madonna of the Streets - Roberto Ferruzzi was the suggestion of BarBara Przeklasa, so long ago that she had forgotten she suggested it! And we finally caught up with Meloney R, of West Virgina, who suggested 3 of Norman Rockwell's "Four Freedoms" patterns which we introduced last year! All were offered their choice of print sizes in complimentary patterns. Thanks to all of them! We have a bunch of new pictures in the gallery again! Several of them are works appearing in the gallery for the first time, so tear yourself away from videos of cute kittens and check them out!
Stay well and keep stitching, | |||
