Hello stitching friends,
Text us maybe! We now have the ability to receive and send text messages from our business phone! The number is 512-861-7699. It's not a cell phone, so how this works is a mystery, but I hope it will make things easier for some of you.
One of our members shared with us how she stores her needles: in the little cases for mechanical pencil leads! They are a convenient size, it's easy to access the needles, and the top won't come off accidentally. She recommends using one case for each needle size. They are easily come by and inexpensive so even if you don't need the lead, you've got a great case for very little money. Thank you for this great tip!
We are working on getting the many pictures we've been sent added to the gallery. We're not completely caught up yet, but there is a lot of new material there -- have a look!
Both of our new patterns this month were by suggestion. Mary Lou from Michigan suggested Leonid Meteor Storm over Niagara Falls - Edmund Weiss, and has received her copy of that pattern. We haven't been able to reach the person who suggested Harvest at La Crau - Vincent Van Gogh, unfortunately. But we have awarded one of last month's new patterns! Bridget Simon from Toledo, Ohio, received a copy of North Rose Window, Notre Dame, Paris. Remember, if you suggest a picture that we create a pattern from, you are entitled to a copy of the pattern but we have to be able to reach you!
