We have a pattern award this month! Nancy C. (aka stitcherfe) from London, Ontario, suggested After the Bath - Paul Peel (shown below). We've sent her a copy of the pattern to thank her for her suggestion.
Meredith tried to adapt the needle book idea presented last month to fit her floss storage needs and learned first what not to do. Here is a second attempt which works much better, plus some things she learned along the way. The moral: borrow ideas, adapt them to fit your own stitching preferences, and keep tinkering until you get it right. It's all in Scarlet Quince Ramblings.
We have lots of new pictures in the gallery! Several are patterns appearing in the gallery for the first time, so be sure to take a look! There is some very impressive work there. (If you are working on or have finished one of our patterns, please send us a picture or two for the gallery! The bigger the better -- we'll shrink it if we need to.)
Note: it would be nice to offer Dinner for Threshers in sections, since it's so large, but the terms of our license prohibit this. This doesn't mean you can't stitch it in sections, though. See our tutorial on stitching part of a pattern.
