Hello stitching friends,
Our new stitching app, SQ Stitch, is now available! It runs in almost any environment (iOS, Android, Windows, Mac) and here are some of the cool things it does:
To get started with the app, you need to create an SQ Stitch account, and then link the patterns you've purchased to the account. Access codes have been emailed to past customers, and new customers receive an access code when they order. If you have Scarlet Quince patterns but didn't get an email with the access code, you're not alone. Lots of people have changed email addresses over the years, or didn't give an email address when they ordered, or bought their patterns from Amazon or another retailer, or were given them. This is not a problem. Get in touch with us and we'll get you taken care of. For more information on using the app, you can read the user manual. We particularly encourage you to read the environment and requirements section, and the setup instructions. To access the app, go to www.scarletquince.com/SQStitch/. Of course, no one has to use the app. If you like using a paper pattern, you can certainly can continue. But we hope you'll have a look! There aren't any parts of cross stitch that aren't fun, but SQ Stitch eliminates some of the less fun parts.
Our two latest patterns are both by suggestion! Fritillaria - Charles Rennie Mackintosh is the suggestion of M. Rubin, in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. End of the Trail - James Earle Fraser was suggested by TgRobinson of Waller, Texas. Both have received copies of the patterns they suggested. Do you have an idea for a pattern? Email us the title and artist (and a picture, if possible). If you are the first to suggest a work of art that we use, you'll win a copy of the pattern.
