We are completely caught up on gallery updates! There are many new pictures of finished work, all of it exquisite! Of special interest is a picture of Barbara Miller of northwest Indiana with her completed Nighthawks - Edward Hopper standing in front of the original at the Art Institute of Chicago! What an amazing experience that would be!

Please Comment on Pattern Symbols

We are contemplating making some changes to the set of symbols that we use in our patterns. This is a Big Deal for a number of reasons, so we want to get it right, and you can help! If you are currently stitching one of our patterns, please tell us if there are symbols that are

• Hard to tell from another symbol
• Hard to make out
• Just too weird to wrap your brain around (it helps, we think, to nickname the symbols)
• Confusing or error-prone for any other reason

If you would like to comment, please email us. Include the pattern title and pattern code, and the symbols you had trouble with and what the problem was. Identify the symbols by the color(s) from the key so that we'll know for sure which you mean. (That is, we would rather you said "the symbol for 471-472" than "the thing that looks like ice tongs".) You can include a name or description if you like. If it's a pattern you have stitched in the past, you are still welcome to comment, if you can recall what problems you had. If you love our symbols just the way they are, we'd love to know that too!

Online Needlework Show in April

Just a reminder, the Online Needlework Show will be celebrating its 10th anniversary this year! The dates are April 14-19. This is a wholesale show (only shops can buy) but everyone can see what's new from their favorite designers and meet new favorites. To celebrate year 10, there will be lots of specials and prizes, so don't miss it!
