Hello stitching friends,
You may not get this newsletter until March, but it's still February as I'm writing, so I'm calling it the February newsletter! We have two pattern awards this month! The Garden of Nebamun was suggested by Mary-Heather Reynolds, of Prattville, Alabama. Its companion, Nebamun Hunting in the Marshes, was first suggested by Joshua Harper, of Dallas, Texas. These two beautiful Egyptian tomb paintings are shown below. Both have been sent as PDFs to these folks. There are tons of new pictures in the gallery! Yes, for one brief shining moment I was caught up. Be sure to check them out!
It was brought to our attention that our patterns of Lady with Unicorn: Sense of Hearing were missing some of the tapestry around the edges. This has been corrected, and patterns of the complete tapestry are now available. If you bought the original (either UNK011 or UNK011-S) and would like the revised version, let us know. We are making the replacements available to anyone who owns the original at no charge (PDF only). If you're grinding your teeth now -- don't! Not only is it bad for your teeth, but the pattern is only about 1" taller and wide for the larger version of the pattern, and less than that for the smaller. And as long as I'm at it, we now have a smaller version of Edward Hopper's Mansard Roof. This was a very early pattern and we didn't realize at the time that it could have been made smaller. Nowadays, we make our charts as small as we can while keeping what we consider an acceptable level of detail (yes, we really do!). So if you bought the larger version and haven't stitched it, we'd be happy to email you the new smaller version instead. (The larger version is still available.)
We are having a sale, now through March 8! Everything is 10% off. No code required -- the discount will be applied when you check out.
