We have a pattern award this month, and it's a pattern many of you have been waiting for! The Scream - Edvard Munch entered the public domain at the beginning of January but apparently we were asleep at the switch. The award went to Brenda Peulen, of Salem, Oregon. Thanks, Brenda, and all the rest of you who suggested it!
We have a new tutorial on Using the Floss Calculator. Some of this material was included in the tutorial Understanding Floss Requirements but that was a pretty long and involved tutorial and didn't fully explain the floss calculator so we've split them up.
We've also added what is intended to be a complete set of Pattern Instructions (not every imaginable tip, but the minimum that someone brand new to stitching would need). The patterns now point you to that page. Our patterns have assumed that you don't need detailed instructions, but for those who are more comfortable having everything spelled out, we offer this. If you think of something we should have included but didn't, please let us know.
First-class domestic shipments now include a tracking number. This isn't UPS or FedEx style tracking which lets you follow a package's progess from start to finish and points in between, it's really delivery confirmation. But you'll be able to see when your package was shipped and when it arrives at your local post office, and any deliveries or delivery attempts. We can't tell you where it is in between; the post office doesn't scan it in between and they don't know either. But such as it is, you'll get the tracking number in your shipment confirmation email.
