July 31, 2014 “I have been working assiduously on Cluny rabbit II. Here are a few photos. As you may notice, I have found pre-gridded Aida canvas, which is so much better than having to run threads through the canvas to produce a grid. The red lines are faint, they outline squares which are exactly 10x10, like on the patterns, and do not show through the embroidery. They are also supposed to disappear with a wash. I have found it made the work much easier, and I stick to my plan of doing one hour every evening, so hopefully, I\ll be able to complete it quite soon! So I can start on a new project from Scarlet Quince! Thanks so much for producing such lovely works!”

I have started on "The Old Cupboard Door", with an embroidery frame this time, to avoid deformation of the fabric. I havent told my husband what it is, see how he reacts when the pattern emerges... For the moment, its just the edge of the door, so nothing visible, of course!”
