Rosa centifolia Anglica rubra - Pierre-Joseph Redoute RED001 pattern info

22-count white Hardanger cloth
June 21, 2012 “I've been working on this since the beginning of this year (2012) and take pictures when I complete every 10 rows. I am stitching on 22-count white Hardanger, 2 strands of floss over one fabric square. I am parking threads, using several Needle Park Avenues to hold and mark them. I am working all the way across each row, not just one page. The reason I don't have an even horizontal line at the bottom of my stitching is because if I have a thread parked to start a stitch directly below a stitch I have just finished, I go ahead and stitch the parked thread, too. I am using the pinhead stitch to start and end each thread, and I skip no further than 5 stitches to park or stitch my next group of stitches of a particular symbol. I stitch Danish style (//// across, then \\ back), but only for continuous stitches. If I have even one stitch of a different symbol between two of the same color, I complete the first full group of continuous stitches, then skip to the next group to either park the thread or stitch it, whichever is appropriate.”
