Vibeke Olason 22-count white aida
February 8, 2012 “Here is a progress report on my latest SQ project. The Accolade is already well represented in the gallery, but this time it is stitched on 22 count white aida. This is my progress after 8 months of stitching. Somehow I feel that the 22 count makes the Lady smile more than usual!”

October 14, 2013 “This is the finished Accolade. It was actually all done in May, but I have been saving up for the framing, and didn't want to wash and press it until it was ready to go. It took me 1 year and 11 months to finish, in between everything else that tends to clog up your time J My next SQ project is already out of the starting blocks; The Crystal Ball by Waterhouse.”

December 17, 2013 “Finally finished an up on the wall. The frame has a deep red section inside the outer frame, as well as a red matting (between the inner brown one next to the image itself, and the top matting in a flesh tone). The colors are a bit more muted in the photo than in real life. It has been a real pleasure to work on this pattern, and I am well under way with my next project; The Crystal Ball. The plan is to give the two works similar frames to create a Guinevere/Morgana effect, or princess versus sorceress, if you will.”
