Stitched by Leslie Nicholson, Deephaven, Minnesota on 18-count white aida
December 11, 2010 “Completed Girl with a Pearl Earring (without background), pattern VER004-B using 18 ct. white aida and 2 strands of floss. It took 9 months and is now ready to be framed. I started the project on black aida cloth but found it was difficult to see the stitching so started over on white and then stitched the background in black floss. I did enlarge the pattern pages and then taped them together because I like to see "the entire picture". This was the first time I stitched in horizontal rows instead of vertical and was amazed to find I like it better. Love your patterns and now have the fun of choosing the next one!”
