Stitched by Kathryn Renstrom
June 18, 2020 “My first ever attempt at cross stitch. I'm really enjoying it. Very slow, because job and kids take up most of my life but this is two weeks work. I'm still baffled by embroidery floss - how on Earth is it a good idea to have a six ply skein that needs winding, then separating, then re plying? Why doesn't it just come on a bobbin like sewing thread? It is illogical.”

September 7, 2019 “I just finished the red Cluny rabbit today and I've also attached a picture of the blue one I did over the winter. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with them. I think I'll do the two dogs next and have a little medieval tapestry quartet to display all together.”

February 27, 2015 “Finally, I finished the Cluny tapestry rabbit II, after 2 years of work!
I didn't follow all the colors as instructed (I used only one color at a time, it was much easier that way for me to read the chart), but I think it turns out just as good. Starting the number I now, see you in about 2 years.... again!”

Stitched by Elodium, Burgundy, France on 18-count aida
October 29, 2014 “Here is a second one of them together. Still undecided about how to frame them and display them... I have started on "The Old Cupboard Door", with an embroidery frame this time, to avoid deformation of the fabric. I havent told my husband what it is, see how he reacts when the pattern emerges... For the moment, its just the edge of the door, so nothing visible, of course!”

April 24, 2012 “My friend and I are stitching the Cluny Rabbits. I am working on the blue background and she purchased the red. I started March 18. I have to admit, it's a challenge but I am pleased with the progress. I'll send along another photo as I move along.”
