Stitched by Peggy Pope, Mattoon, Illinois on 18-count aida
May 8, 2023 “Here's the finished project, about 145,000 stitches over 20 months. I spent, basically, from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm every day, so (conservatively) 3200 hours doing it. I echo almost every other stitcher's comments that this hobby is just addicting. After I saw--and loved-- how someone else framed this piece, I mimicked it as closely as possible. Thanks for this wonderful site for challenging patterns. This was done on 18 count Aida.”

Stitched by Jean Naciuk, Calgary, Canada on 18-count aida
December 16, 2009 “I would like to thank you for your wonderful pattern. Yes, I finally finished it and all the comments that I got were all starting with Wow! I included a jpg of the finished product before I framed it to show the hardworking staff that yes, people really do use the patterns. As a note, I will be framing and submitting this picture to the Calgary Stampede next year so lots of people can see what wonderful patterns are available for cross stitch.”

Stitched by Nona Mitchell, Madison, Wisconsin on 16-count aida
“This Fishbowl Fantasy took 17 months 2 weeks to complete. It was my second Scarlet Quince project and I enjoy cross stitching - addicted is probably a good word for me. Did enjoy it with all the little things it contained, from people & a house inside the fishbowl to a feather, cross, etc. It was different.”
