Stitched by Mieke van Tergouw on 16-count Jobelan
November 8, 2018 “This beautiful work Bird of God by Joanne Boyce was stitched by me in four months time. I just could not stop and loved every minute of it. The stitched size is 23,1 cm x 23,9 cm (9.1 wide x 9.4 long). I am now stitching Lady with Fan by Gustav Klimt.”

Stitched by Emma (emmadragon), Huncote, UK on 14-count aida
December 24, 2011 “Here is a picture of Bird of God, completed and framed. I finally completed her last weekend, a little later than planned. She looks lovely, but definitely better from a distance, there's a much better effect that way, probably because she's on 14 count aida.”

Stitched by Vibeke Olason on 18-count ecru aida
“Here is a photo of my first SQ project after having a frame fitted. The couple who runs the shop where I had it done was totally delighted, and said it was the best cross stitch project they had ever seen. It ended up with a double frame and three different mats. There is an auburn mat closest to the image, then a narrow mahogany frame with golden "dots", then a beige mat, a grey linen mat, and the finally the outer frame with carved ornaments. This adds a wonderful depth to the picture. It is almost like the little angel is peeping through a window to look at us rather than the other way around. I am currently working on "Miranda", and more photos will follow. Thank you for supplying us with such wonderful projects to work on, it’s really hard to choose, you just want to do them all!”
