Stitched by Sharon Culler, Carrollton, Ohio on 18-count antique white aida
August 8, 2011 “This pattern was framed by my husband. It's a beautiful piece. With the added frame it is 24" wide by 37" long. It was made for my mother, although I don't go back to her house until next summer so I get a year to enjoy, sorry mom! My lesson learned. Keep your hands clean that white aida is unforgiving! Learn the pinhead stitch it is wonderful, it made this project so much easier. I am awaiting more aida (drat, 18 count not available locally have to order online) to begin on pattern MUC013 Poppies, this one's mine mom!”

Stitched by Elizabeth McLoughlin on 18-count white aida
“So here it is, finished before framing. I had a very difficult time cleaning it and getting the wrinkles out, so I am determined to use a frame and handle less on the next project. However, we love our hummingbirds, those who come to our feeder and those I cross-stitched.”
